The abstract:
As an undergrad, I majored in computer science and biology. People asked what the hell I was going to do with the combination.
Trying to answer that question, I spent a lot of time and effort earning a PhD in biochemistry. People asked what the hell I was going to do when I graduated.
In answering that question, I decided to enter the world of software startups. Now people just ask me what the hell I was thinking.
I currently work at Yelp, but in the past I've worked at Justin.tv, SRI and a few other places that you've almost certainly never heard about.
Naturally, nothing I write on this blog represents the opinion of the people brave enough to hire me.
